The University System of Georgia with its twenty teacher preparation programs is dedicated to preparing highly qualified elementary, middle, and secondary teachers to educate Georgia's students. One of our programs is the Masters of Arts degree program--a degree in which future teachers can earn initial teacher certification, plus a masters degree (more pay!).
